MK, there isn't anything we can do about it. We have no control over what art is on what page with the rotating gif when it is crawled by the search engines for indexing. It's simply the way that the internet works. This is true for images on our site, news that used to be on the front page of various newspapers, websites, etc.

I agree with Vic - this isn't copyright infringement. It's just the way the internet works...

It's like if I visit your web site, you will find a "COPY" of every image I saw there in the cache on my computer. They will stay there indefinitely, depending on whether I go online again (or not). If more images go into the cache others will eventually expire... but if I don't, they'll stay there. Did I COPY them? No. It's just how it works.

I think you have to loosen up a little if you're going to put your art online. There's a difference between paranoia and playing it safe. Just my two cents. And yes, I have had images stolen online, so I am not "complacent". But I think you have to consider motive, etc. Is Google keeping your images in their database for the purpose of reproducing and selling? I doubt it. I seriously doubt they even know who you are.

What exactly is the problem you are experiencing? I mean... what are those "unnecessary technical problems" you are referring to? Maybe there is something I don't know about.
