are you talking about ebsq live? or the general chat thing? both are still around...

altho melissa wotherspoon won't be able to do live this month as planned since she thought she'd have dsl by now, and sadly doesn't, and it would be hard for her to present with such a spotty and slow connection. her presentation will still appear in the zine either later this month or next month.

and i have non-flooding turned on to prevent spammers from taking out the server via our message boards. i didn't get a chance to look at the setting last night (someone else asked about this yesterday) but we'll see what can be done later today.

FYI - "non flooding" means you cannot post again within a certain length of time - usually something like 30 seconds. I visit other boards that have this in effect as well. If you're a very fast typist this restriction can be a drag but it is helpful to the server and the boards.

I'm going to start another thread on "how to put a photo by your name" b/c I can't figure it out - and I'm on several MB's like this and have never had a problem!

I have to admit, this particular board is a bit less easy to understand, image-wise. That wasn't one of the features we tried out intensively when we were shopping for new software. We were simply happy the software had the feature, y'know? I'm going to personally be spending some more time with the image stuff today so I can get a better handle on it, and I know several other members here are no doubt already experts, lol.

Hang in there, and coming to visit your other thread now :)
