both ARE actually working, albeit slowly, so it seems like they're not. If you open one of your auctions pages and wait a minute, the logo will pop up eventually. and the hit for your counter happens at the same time. but if the page is clicked away from before the logo shows up, it won't actually register as a hit. we don't yet know WHY it's acting so slowly.
