Art: The Wall by Artist Shelly Bedsaul
Proud buildings forgotten by time and the endless migrations to malls and urban sprawl. This building is still sound. On the second floor is a ballroom, a remnant of the past. Attempts are being made to restore these old buildings, but apparently, there is more interest in untold varieties of athletic shoes and MP3 players. This photo was taken using a Kodak digital camera. I sepia toned, then posterized the image using Paint Shop Pro. The idea was to show the antiquity of the building, but also showing its part in the present and future.
