- Big Green Doors in the French Quarter SOLD
The massive old doors of the French Quarter stand open, waiting for all to enter in this large original oil painting. It is painted in Diane's modern Impressionist style with bold, colorful brush strokes. This one-of-a-kind painting may be hung unframed, if desired. (The edges of the canvas are also painted, and a picture wire kit is included.) A certificatte of authenticity will be enclosed. ARTIST'S STATEMENT: I love the old wooden doors in New Orleans. They are very tall and heavy. Many are original, made by hand, and covered with layers and layers of paint. What stories these doors could tell! Diane is a published artist, and many of her New Orleans scenes are now in print. This is an opportunity to own an original.
