When my children were younger, their appetite for Jelly Beans was insatiable.
Often, they used them as "currency" with each other to barter for other "valuables"
At one time a whole bag was emptied onto a table cloth to be counted for equal distribution.
From that pile of Jelly Beans dumped unceremoniously onto my good lace cloth sprang the idea to paint this piece.
While the kids loved the painting, alas, it did not quench their hunger for more Jelly Beans.
As with most everything else, this phase passed, and this colorful painting serves as a nostalgic reminder of days gone by.
