For my rip of Jenn Reid's wonderful teatime works, I tried to "rip" my way into her head and imagine what she would come up with if she were to come to my house for tea.....hmmmm, two crazy artists together with my gang of critters....here's the story: World-renowned artist Jennifer Reid has graciously accepted an invitation to tea at her friend Tag's house. Jenn has always wanted to meet the crew of critters that inspire this artist, and now she is getting that wish fulfilled first-hand!! Ezra, ever the love parasite, curls himself around her head, while Mo takes over her lap! One of the ferrets, Barney, has gotten out of the ferret room,and has stolen a spoon, a great treasure to hide! Poe is enjoying the cream. Vinny goes after a hummingbird at the window and that's kinky-tailed Chaim on the sill. Gumbo is bugging Jenn to go for a walk, Kesey swats at one-eyed Wonton who is busily chasing lean black Bram, fastest of the oriental crew. Siblings Deck and Alma recline under Tag's chair, while Cassady does his best to spread cat hair all over mom. Tag just holds her hands up in the air, what's a mom to do when the kids are acting up, well, just put up your feet as they run underneath, and pass the cream please! Cat Lax is a condiment in this household, even tastes pretty good in tea, can I offer you some, Jenn?? At least Jenn still has that great smile of hers on her face, she must be having a good time!
