For the EBSQ Portrait Swap '07, my portrait of Madeline Carol Matz. I loved the reference she sent me of her looking down at her sweet kitty Genevieve. I could just see the love there, and wanted to capture that feeling. This piece was done with watercolor, Derwent Graphitint pencils, and fluid acrylics. I liked the shine in Madeline's hair and gave her some metalic copper highlights. And not to leave Genevieve out, so gave her some irridescent golden highlights in her fur as well!
