Around my house I often hear, "Mom is this painting fruit or eating fruit", well, it was almost always painting fruit. Fruit that I had bought to put in still life compositions. I finally decided it would be best to just take reference photos before the food disappeared.

I had really bought these tomatoes for the hamburgers we were cooking on the grill. Then, the sunlight just happen to come through the kitchen window at just the perfect angle and strike the tomatoes.....I took several photos at different angles and then began looking for more sulight. I found an area in my studio that was just perfect and took more photos.

This photo was taken with a Canon Power Shot A720 IS and I enhanced the color just a bit with my Corel Photo software.
