This is my current favorite pear. I love the colors, rust, brown, gold. It was hard to capture the rich colors with the camera.

Southwest Pear was completed in my home studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. c2011.

Media: Southwest Pear was painted using professional artist grade acrylic paint on a gallery wrapped canvas with painted sides to allow for display without a frame. Painting was finished with a light coat of varnish.
