I feel very lucky to live near the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Living in the foothills of the mountains, I get to see the beautiful fall colors year after year. This watercolor was based on a misty morning at the Broad River near Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Using poured watercolor on very wet paper I tried to capture the soft mist and the bright foliage. Thanks for viewing Broad River Mist
