This piece started out as a big head fashion doll. Her arms were replaced with wire and the entire thing was wrapped with floral tape and fabric strips in two different fabrics. A handmade clay mask covers her face and her stand of roots is also handmade from clay. Her headdress is wire wrapped the same as the arms. The leaves come from old floral supplies. She represents the human form and its connection to the cycles of life and nature.
