For a long time I have been attracted to S. Olga Linville’s whimsical cat art. After much self debate I decided to do a rip of her “hula cat”. It seemed to fit with my summery mood. My hula cat sock doll is made from a pair of black knee socks with white accents. The skirt and bikini top is made from blue ribbon yarn and cream colored fleece. The arms and tail are button jointed. It was a joy and honor to create a rip of S. Olga’s extraordinary kitty. She is such a talented artist. I hope she enjoys her new doll.
