This freeform necklace was inspired by the vintage blue cobalt glass beads that I luckily discovered at a recent estate sale. It was also inspired by Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world. I think it must also be the bluest. I added those two things together and this necklace was born.
I used a seed bead mix that I put together that consists of at least 20 different colors and sizes 8 to 15 seed beads and vintage lampwork cobalt beads. There are also Swarovski crystals, gold flecked glass seashells and striped glass fish swimming along the blue coral fringe.
This necklace is continuous, meaning there is no clasp. It is 25 inches long so it will fit over the head.
