The Whitewater Bunch was inspired by the rugged Whitewater Canyon in Southern California.  Water rushes down the canyon over rocks and boulders and has a long time history as a supply of water for residents and livestock in the Banning area.  Later it sported a fish hatchery and now is a wildlife preserve.  It is one of my favorite areas to paint or burn.  I go several times a year to update photos and to paint on site.
