Sunnyslope I is a tree that sits west of Sunnyslope II and is part of The Joshua Tree Chronicles. I received a grant from Puffin Foundation to initiate this project.  Each Joshua Tree is individual and different in shape and size to its neighboring tree and unique to the Mojave Desert.  Pyrography is older that three thousand years with beginnings in the decorative arts and now is becoming much more accepted as a fine art.
