Kickapoo is an unusal Joshua Tree on the west end of Onaga on Kickapoo Trail.  Each tree is different and unique to the Mojave Desert.  The wood is vintage from the 40's and 50's and no longer is being processed as the trees now enjoy a protected status.  Condalia is part of the Joshua Tree Chronicles funded by the Puffin Foundation.  Care is taken when burning the wood due to the toxic nature of the particulars that are given off.
