I made this necklace with thoughts of my sister in mind. She worked seven years to get her teaching degree and was teaching second graders. Then the economical woes hit and she got laid off. Fortunately she got hired at another school making 7,000 more a year. Just goes to show, when one door closes another one opens, and often leads to bigger, better things.
Torched/hand forged copper wire fittings, and closures. 2" inch polymer clay pendant with torched/hand forged copper wire imbedded within. Copper wire is heated until it beads on the ends and has to be annealed just right to get the pink colors. Painted the clay to look like copper and everyone thinks it is.
