Humpty Dumpty was a decorated Pysanky egg that hailed from the Ukraine. The original version of "Humpty Dumpty" is varied and they say he didn't even start out as an egg. It's an interesting history. I've come up with a slightly different version of what I think went down.

Humpty Dumpty was fancy,

Yes, he was a fancy Pysanky,

He edged his self up on the wall,

But pride goes beforeth a fall.

All the king's horses,

And all the kings men,

Couldn't put this Pysanky,

Together again.
