This is my Quilled Red Breasted Nuthatch, an original artwork created by
placing my rolls of paper beneath my cut out, simulating the feathers in the birds. It is framed under glass in an 8"x10" black
oak frame, finished
piece is 10"x12". This is one of my 'New Hampshire Birds'
collection, any of which can be combined for a dramatic focal piece on a
wall.
The Red Breasted Nuthatches are the smaller nuthatches that we see. But, like all nuthatches, they are always seen going down the tree to plant their seeds in the bark or search for bugs.
