This is a Saki set of a pot and 2 cups made from pewter. I also blogged the progress on my Live Journal so you can go there and se how it came together. Pewter is an alloy of tin, copper and antimony and melts at just over 500 degrees. it works a lot differently from silver and most of the seams are fused together which is a lot like welding.
