These oak leaves are chased into a copper sheet, 18 gauge and 6" square. It has been treated with an oxidizing patina and given a coat of paste wax to protect it. Chasing is a process where lines are inscribed into metal using a series of chisels and punches to create a low relief design. this piece is a wall hanging and has a hanger attached to the back.
