Well my brain has been doing it thing again and along comes “EASTER bunny ISLAND.” What could be more endearing than the mythology of Easter Island, mixed with the mythology of the Easter Bunny… beside that who wouldn’t kill for that much chocolate?? My great love of the truly bizarre along with my love of TIKIs … not to mention chocolate… led to this sublime painting. I tried to keep the colours in the Easter vein while still showing the desolation of such an island. AND who’s to say the Easter Island Bunny isn’t real??? I mean have you seen the bunny delivering chocolate??? HUH well??? Have you??? Ya see I could be right after all…. Quick pass the chocolate.
