My mother made raggedy ann dolls for my children when they were little. Since my son's name was Andy and my daughters and my daughter's MariANNe it was the perfect gift.
Sadly they were lost in a move years ago. My son died a couple of months ago at 48. I am trying to channel my grief into something tangible. I have already done one large painting of him using a photo of his face collaged onto canvas and then painting the rest. I like doing it and liked the result so I got the idea of doing similar paintings of both of my children or even strangers from "orphaned" photos pick up in collectible shops.
This painting is done and a canvas with deep edges which I have painted black so a frame is unnecessary.
Original one of a kind, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
Comes with certificate of authenticity from EBSQart.
