Art: frida's tears by Artist Nancy Denommee

Original mixed-media painting of Frida Kahlo painted on a Masonite board. I thinned the paint and let it drip down the panel to create the tears. I added silk flowers to her hair.

Painting Frida Kahlo has been a speciality of mine for a number of years. I feel she epitomized the pain and also the strength that artists' suffer. More so than most, of course because of her terrible health problems. She never gave up.

One of a kind, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
