This is a painting of my son; Andre Denommee. On the fifteenth of March 2015 he had a heart attack and did not regain consciousness. My daughter and I sat with him and on April 1st he was removed from the ventilator. We watched him leave this world. It was agonizing.

The day after I printed one of my favorite photos of him in b/w and attached it to this large canvas. I wanted to paint the rest of him in a naÃ¯ve style. I could not do it. I had to turn the canvas to the wall. Yesterday; July 2 I worked on it until it was completed. I'm sure the paint must be mixed with my tears.

I don't think I will be able to let this painting go but I want people to see it. I want everyone on earth to know what a wonderful husband, father, son and brother he was.

Original one of a kind painting, not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.

Would come with certificate of authenticity from EBSQart.
