Art: Colonel Feathergill steampunk sculpture by Artist Nancy Denommee

Original outsider art steampunk sculpture. I first had in mind a "saint" figure; the ones with just the torso on a wooden frame base but as I sculpted the face I knew that something else entirely was emerging. I have a treasure trove of bits and pieces of all kinds of fabric, wood and metal found objects. The gorgeous red cloak is a devore velvet that started life as a wine bag. I have already used the gold cord and tassel from in on another art piece.

This gentleman stands 21" in tall and each side is 5". There is a skeleton suspended from the body, bits of fur for hair, beautiful black feather atop his brass helmet.

A very unique and original sculpture. Signed on base.

Comes with certificate of authenticity from EBSQart.
