This is a portrait of a collage. I first cut out interesting images out of magazines and glued them on paper to make a collage. I then painted what I saw on another piece of paper. I was not so much interested in making an exact copy as I was in the shapes and the composition. I like to incorporate letterforms in my art, stemming from my love of words in general and the printed word in particular.
