As a teenager in the sixties, I created drawings similar to this, usually on the backs of envelopes, and sold them to my classmates. I enjoyed creating a little time warp for myself and pretending it was still 1967 and I was drawing away during a boring class... The paper is off-white and coated with a satin finish (not too shiny, but not matte either). I sprayed the drawing with a matte fixative for protection. The drawing is 8x10". The paper is larger for easier matting.
