Art: DO NOT JUMP INTO CONCLUTION by Artist Moshiur Rahman

DO NOT JUMP INTO CONCLUTION is one of my very resent works done in July 2008 on 18 by 36; .75 thick gallery wrapped stretched canvas, media acrylic paint.

This abstract composition is based on geometric phenomena. The surface of the composition is a pattern. One of the most dramatic ones concerns the number of regions into which a square can be divided by connecting points on the square. The question Is, how many reasons should be expecte for five, six points and so on, connected in all possible ways? If you notice 2 points 2 regions, 3 points 4 regions, 4 points 8 regions then pattern fails to continue. In this painting, I have tried to represent a solution with geometric shapes and colors. Each region represent a unit in the square and total number of units represents the numeric number for the square. A square with 8 units represents eight regions in the square. I enjoyed a lot while doing it. One of my future compositions expected to be involving circle instead of square what I am studying and working on it now.

Email me at, if my works interest you.

Above mentioned painting is a 100% hand painted Original on Canvas 18x36x.75 gallery wrapped museum quality stretched canvas, media acrylic paint, staple free edges. The sides are painted black so there is no need for framing and it is signed, titledand dated on the surface of the painting. The painting is numbered and catalogued. A coat of varnish / sealer has been applied to protect the surface of the painting.
