Remember the old traveling Carnivals? They had such wonderful posters advertising true marvels behind every curtain! "Come see the Fiji Mermaid!" "How about a real live unicorn?" "Step right up and see the Frogling! Half human, half frog!" Is she a freak of nature, or is she a magickal creature from Fairy Land? Of course, you never know what you'll see until you step behind the curtain!

This acrylic painting was done in honor of the beautiful old Sideshow posters! The divine art and informational selling points enticed the paying public into the tents. Whether they would really see a frogling or just a painted lady in creative stockings is a whole other issue!
