Painted using Artist Grade Acrylic paint, on stretched and triple primed chunky Box Canvas, 16" x 16", with a depth of 1.5".

This is the finished painting that began with a "Nude Study" in watercolour.

Looking at the finished work, I see now where the influences are for what I was trying to do with it, but while painting it I had no real planned direction, I basically painted freely with a feel that came from the initial colour and light study, which I saw developing with a somewhat greater abstract quality of the final figure, and the key colours and tones being swept and worked in more boldly using knife and brush. Great fun !
