I recently had one of my ostrich eggs featured as Art of the Day.  Thank you,  EBSQ for that honor. 

     My pysanky creations are non-traditional and are all original designs although I use many of the same symbols and motifs that traditional pysanky artists use.   I will try to create a unique interpretation of familiar motifs using unusual color combinations with very stylized/abstract traditional symbols.  Most of my batik eggs are created using only the primary color dyes, i mix/blend these on the egg to create secondary and tertiary color mixtures.
