Art: ABSTRACT STALLION by Artist Marcia Baldwin

This was a huge life size painting of the amazing equine spirit. Bold and strong, yet gentle and unassuming, the horse is truly one of my favorite subjects. I have had horses all my life and still enjoy an evening ride along the riverbanks. This painting is of a stallion, caught with the sun behind his back and the wind catching his mane in full glory. It was executed in oils on a very large canvas in oils, more than 4 feet wide and 4 feet tall. When I finished the painting, I placed it in my den, and it was like all the horses in my life came back to visit. The memories of past friends, my horses. Enjoy the View. - Marcia.
