I Thought I Knew You...

Art: I Thought I Knew You... by Artist Lindi Levison
We tend to feel anonymous if we cover our eyes. A mask or even a simple pair of sunglasses can sometimes make us feel as though we have successfully concealed our identity. In contrast, we tend to accept the belief that if we can see a person's eyes, we gain a greater understanding of what that person might be thinking... But what if that was ALL we could see? What if the eyes were visible and everything else was concealed? In some ways, I think the opposite end of the spectrum can provide the same anonymity. In this piece, I hope to provoke thoughts on this subject.
