Let us burn a candle for Peace! People of all Races and Nations - Join hands and open your hearts to the light of love and understanding! I created this piece from clay, acrylic paints and beads. It resembles five young men of different races joining around a camp fire - with all their cultural differences still reaching out for each other. This sculpture is meant to warm our hearts and also serve as a vessel for a tea light. Talking about vessels - they come in all sizes and shapes - they can hold food and liquids to nurture our body - but if thoughts and feelings are materialized, a vessel can also hold ideas to nurture our mind and soul.
