I discovered my passion to paint and draw at a very young age. Born and raised in Bavaria, Germany, I spent most of my adult life moving between Europe and the United States before settling in the Northwest a few years ago. This mobile lifestyle, including trips to several European Countries, Africa and Brazil, as well as greater parts of the United States, have given me the opportunity to learn more about the beauty and variable cultures in different parts of the world. I did not only visit many famous museums and galleries to see great masterpieces of art, but also studied with some excellent artists in this country and in Germany.

Even so my paintings are usually vibrant and full of color, they often display a sense of simplicity and style found during the Art Deco period. I also attempt to reflect upon the beauty and problems of life itself in many of my paintings. As an active member of the Art League of Olympia, I help to promote the visual arts in the South Puget Sound Community.
