Bumble bees are abundant on our farm. This fellow was collecting pollen on some thistles I was in the process of chopping down. I managed to capture him in flight as he was flying away, to another flower further away from me. The photo was shot using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, f/9, exposure time 1/500 sec, IOS-320, 300mm.
