Chance (Chief Jackie Skipper) is our double-registered, American Quarter Horse stallion. Lately, I've been busy painting patriotic themed artwork and Chance decided he would like to be featured in one. I told him he would have to be a unicorn. He said, 'Fine. But, I want to be portrayed realistically. No sissy white unicorn with a yellow mane.' I knew better than to argue with him as he can be very stubborn. 'Okay,' I said, 'but, I'd like to add the American flag to the painting somehow.' He thought for a moment and then finally said, 'I'd be proud to display the flag using my golden horn as the flag's pole.'
