This painting started out being about the pandemic and how I wanted to express  how we are all connected and need each other.  Then the death  of George Floyd  happened and the protesting.  So I combined the idea of the pandemic and racial justice to create The Uplift.  We are all on this big beautiful earth together, it would be even more beautiful if we loved and supported each other and treated each other fairly and justly.  I look forward to this day and will work hard toward helping to create that world.
