I decided to enter this piece into the "economy" show because who will be hurt most by our terrible economy but our children? Not only do they have to give up alot for the present, but also their future. The "powers that be" who ran our companies and our nation unwisely, are making it all the more difficult for future generations! They will have to be the ones to rise up and create a better, less greedy nation. I created this painting using acrylic paint. I sponged on several layers for the background. I used my traditional bright colors and my signature curly tree in the background.
