This painting is a bit of a depature from my usual work. It's a representation of a recuring dream I've been having for many years.
In the dream, I'm walking along a deserted beach in the moonlight. Next to me is a small figure, but I am unable to turn and see exactly who it is. In the distance is a cliff surmounted by a tower (all very Freudian I know). Nothing much happens in the dream, but I always have the distinct feeling that there is something waiting for me in the tower.
I believe that the work manages to capture the mood and atmosphere of the dream quite successfully.

This was painted in acrylics on stretched canvas.
The size is 20" x 16"
It is unframed.
The sides of the canvas have been painted, so it does not necessarily need framing.
Please note: Depending on the setting of your monitor, the colours may appear slightly different from those of the original painting.
Also you must appreciate that it is impossible to convey all the subtleties of texture, tone and hue of the original work in a digital photograph.
Thanks for taking the time to look at my work
