This is Sprinkles my Black Copper Maran rooster that I hatched fall of 2011. He's stunning the colors in his feathers are wonderful. I painted this from a photo I took of him last week. He's one of my favorite animals to photo and was perfect to paint for June Nibblefest theme 'birds'.
