This was a commission from a client who found me on Etsy. She wanted to gift her husband with a portrait of him but when he found it, he was sad that his wife wasn't going to be in the portrait. So this is why I ended up painting them together. A lovely love story. The painting is based on 2 separate photos I put together from the time they met in 1972.
