I wanted a piece that had emotional impact. I was pleased to touch on the sense of seeing, hearing and feeling with this painting considering it's a 2D medium. Most people can recall a deep romantic moment that make their mind swirl in a sea of hope and fear, ya?

I entered this in the "Scintillating" show because I interpret the word as stimulating. And both words together (scintillating and stimulating), absolutely gives me a sensual twinge. How much better can sensuality be expressed than through feel (lips touching and cold rain pelting your skin), scent of a lover and the freshly wet ground, and the whole visual image of all this?
