I
think that small portraits are so endearing because they
are precious little family heirlooms that will fit any home
from an apartment to a palace! They can either be framed
as a table top portrait, or hung in a bigger frame on the
wall.
How
many big portraits end up in the attic or garage because
they are too big and are too much trouble to re-frame to
fit the decor? The friendly size I've chosen is affordable
and friendly :)

Whose VISIBLE brush strokes are losely yet strategicly applied.

the Artist:.
Erika's works are influenced by her favorite artists like
John Singer Sargent and Mary Cassatt. She also admires the
dramatic techniques of Caravaggio's chiaroscuro paintings.
Erika
is primarily a figurative artist who tries to earn her livelihood
through producing and selling art. Her degenerative condition
limits her ability to paint too many oil paintings a year.
Most of the pieces she produces lately are the popular watercolor
nude figuratives she sells on Ebay.
I prefer Paypal payments. I will accept Money Order and Personal
checks but I will have to hold item until check clears. Purchases
may be combined but payment is expected within maximum of
10 days in all cases. I reserve the right to re-list and leave
negative feedback.

I use USPS for my shipping carrier. Insurance is included
in shipping fee. Your purchase will always be professionally
wrapped.
TERMS:.
The
colors may look slightly different from the picture due
to monitor settings.
This
offer is for a head and shoulders portrait only.
The
size is 6"x8" oil portrait on canvas board based
on photo provided by client. Frame is not included.
You
may send me a scanned image with the head from top to chin
being at least 350x350 pixels. Or you can send me photo(s)
and I will work from the original.
I
have 20 years of experience and passion invested into figurative
and portrait art. I realize that offering this through Ebay
means I have to put extra effort into dealing with client.
I will take digital photos of each step and will email client.
It
will be more important to express changes in steps 2, 3,
and 4. Once the piece is approved by client, I will let
it dry for about a week and ship the oil portrait :) Again,
I will take digital photos of painting to show you how the
painting looks. I will not take the painting back for changes.
Selling art on Ebay is my only income which means I need
to work on pieces to sell.
If
an unfortunate situation arises and the client is absolutely
not happy with the portrait, painting will be sent back
to me and I will gladly refund 50% of the fee. I can honestly
tell you that I haven't disappointed a client yet :)
