I paint these using a sandy gritty texture and use knives as well as brushes~ grey tones, blue tones, and red dominate the top layer of this abstract painting~ lol. My first attempt at a room picture and that is literally my living room couch, so I think it is safe to say it is the correct size. LOL. It is a large painting 36 inches is 3ft so the painting is 3ftx2ft wide. I love this series, I know I always say that, but trust me, I wont auction it if it isn't the finest work!I cover my painting in a glossy painted on varnish. They are gallery quality through and through. Sides are painted black, and should be hung without framing.
