But it's a DRY HEAT

Art: But it's a DRY HEAT by Artist Doris H. David
The giant saguaros in Arizona dominate the landscape in some places as does the heat, which everyone assures you is tolerable because it is so "dry". The scene and the very hot sun put me in mind of one day in the summer in Tempe when my husband and I went shopping and actually paid money just for a spot in the shade in which to park the car. This piece is acrylic on stretched canvas and as you may be able to discern, is somewhat loosely based on the "suns" that Vincent Van Gogh painted.
