This work started out very abstract then the iris and the poppies were added. A painting knife was used to add more texture in areas. Although each of my paintings is a unique expression, the common thread running through my work is a passion for color combined with highly textural passages and a fluid movement. I create very strong oils full of life and vitality which are an extension of my adventure with life and the joy I find in color.
