I have done a number of portrait commissions, as well as other subjects. Recently the portraits have been more likely to be 18th-century style portrait miniatures intended to be worn, painted with period techniques on bone or legal ivory and mounted in sterling silver or gold filled mounts.

I have also done portaits for businesses and organizations, such as the founder of the Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary in Liberty, Missouri; see http://www.naturesanctuary.com/ I have done a great deal of nature-oriented art for them as well, seen on many of the pages above.

I work as a professional illustrator as well, for such publishers as North Light Books, Globe Pequot Press, Van Nostrand Rheinhold, Penguin, Time/Life, and Scholastic, as well as magazines, including Country Living, The Artist's Magazine, Watercolor Magic, and others.
